61  What Makes A Job A Calling?

A calling isn’t just a job you’re good at, or one that pays well.

➡️  It’s work that feels meaningful, deeply satisfying and aligned with who you are.
➡️  It’s what you might choose to do, even if you didn’t have to.

💡 Research shows that when you use at least 4 of your top 7 natural strengths in your role, you’re much more likely to experience your work as a calling.

💥 Unfortunately, most people don’t have clarity on their natural strengths.

👉🏼  They are often too busy focusing on areas to improve, and overlook what they instinctively do best.
👉🏼  By shifting their focus to what they naturally excel at, they can often illuminate a much easier, and more effective, path to overcoming obstacles.

⭐️ This is one of the ways my coaching supports leaders, by helping you uncover and intentionally use your unique strengths, to create more success, fulfilment, and ease.

Achieving more fulfilment doesn’t have to mean changing jobs. By consciously using more of what you naturally do well in your current role, your work can feel more energising, more “in flow,” and more you.

Why does this matter?

When your work taps into your natural strengths:

✅ It feels energising, not draining.
✅ You’re more engaged.
✅ You’re more resilient.
✅ You’re more likely to experience success, fulfilment and ease.

⭐️ Understanding and leveraging how you work best cognitively, and what you do best, is the foundation of my coaching.

⭐️ When you align your role with your strengths, success and fulfilment stop being accidental, they become inevitable.

🎯 Try This Today:

🔹 Think about a recent time when you felt energised and “in the zone” at work. What strengths were you using?
🔹 Start making small adjustments to do more of what plays to those strengths.
