I saw a photo recently of a child’s feet in glittery peep toe stilettos, with the caption ‘Don’t you dare let anyone dull your sparkle, no matter how old you are.’

It was very cute and of course absolutely correct.  We are all born to shine!

But what strikes me is that it is often not other people that dim our sparkle, but instead, we do it to ourselves.

How many dreams go undreamt because, after the ignition of the excitement fuse we are suddenly riddled with doubt & think ‘I can’t really do that’, ‘I’m not good enough’, ‘It might be hard’ or ‘I just don’t have time’? and the once brilliant spark of our fuse fizzles out.

This is your wake up call!
